Grégoire Kayibanda

  Grégoire Kayibanda (1 May 1924 – 15 December 1976) was a Rwandan politician and revolutionary who was the first elected President of Rwanda from 1962 to 1973. An ethnic Hutu , he was a pioneer of the Rwandan Revolution and led Rwanda's struggle for independence from Belgium , replacing the Tutsi monarchy with a republican form of government. Rwanda became independent from Belgium in 1962, with Kayibanda serving as the country's first president, establishing a pro-Hutu policy and a de facto one-party system governed by his party, Parmehutu . He was overthrown in a coup d'état in 1973 by his defense minister, Juvénal Habyarimana , and died three years later.   Early life and education Kayibanda was born on 1 May 1924 in Tare, Rwanda . Cultural Revolution (Libya)

  The Cultural Revolution ( Arabic : ال زاهف , romanized :  al-zahf ) [ 2 ] (also known as the People's Revolution or the Green Terror ) in Libya was a nearly four-year period of political and social change in Libya. It started with Muammar Gaddafi 's declaration of a cultural revolution during a speech in Zuwarah on 15 April 1973. This came after increasing tensions between Gaddafi and his colleagues in the Revolutionary Command Council (RCC) had led him to agree to step down. Gaddafi had told the RCC that he would announce his resignation to the people during his Zuwara speech, but he instead surprised them with his declaration of the Cultural Revolution. By the end of the Cultural Revolution period, Gaddafi was the uncontested leader of Libya. He is considered ATLANTIQUE MICROFINANCE PLC/Rubavu  de facto  Branch Manager between March, 2025 till now, while Business Development officer and Business Banker in AB Bank Rwanda and Recovery officer at UMUTANGUHA FINANCE PLC, Born to a Rwandan family in western part of Rwanda at Rubavu and after 5 months his parents fled to DRC  at Bukavu.    Picture taken in 2019.
